The H60 terrace profile is designed for installation on the edges of terraces and balconies. Thanks to the modern design, the profile gives an aesthetic appearance and, above all, protects the corner edges of balconies and terraces against weather conditions (moisture, defrosting) and mechanical damage to the ceramic layer.

The profile consists of 3 main elements:
1 - Assembly part - is used to install the profile in a concrete substrate. The perforation of the mounting part is used to embed the mounting part in the waterproofing.
2 - Runoff part:
Upper - is used to drain water from the terrace or balcony
The lower one - perforated - is used to remove moisture from the ceramic layers.
3. Gutter part - it is used to cover the front of the balcony and install an aluminum gutter that drains water.

System with ventilated floors

W60 Profile

The W60 profile is used to finish the edges of terraces and balconies in a glueless system. The ceramic tiles are placed on the PVC membrane using plastic spacers.

- Used for ceramic tiles with a thickness of about 20 mm.
- Possibility to permanently fix the profile to the membrane by means of special PVC clips or aluminum rivets.
- Corrosion and weather resistant.
- Protects against rodents - the gap between the lower surface of the ceramic plate and the membrane - about 6mm.
- Possibility to carry out construction works in negative temperatures.

The R40 gutter system can be attached to both glued and ventilated terrace profiles. 

How to install

H60 profile

The system includes: profiles, corners, connectors, wall bumpers. The R40 aluminum gutter can be mounted to the profiles.

Attention! Do not use tools that cause a thermal effect (e.g. angle grinder) to cut profiles.

1. The gradient of the balcony / terrace should be 1.5-2%
2. The substrate must be load-bearing. At the planned installation site, make a 60 mm wide and 6 mm deep step along the edge of the balcony / terrace in order to flush the balcony plane with the upper plane of the profile.
3. Start the assembly with adjusting the corners and cutting the profiles with approx. 3 mm spacing between the elements to compensate for stresses.
4. Place the corners and profiles on the waterproofing layer and fasten them with 6 mm dowels, maintaining compensation gaps. We connect the embedded profiles using connectors.
5. After setting the sealing mortar, re-apply the sealing layer to the surface of the profiles and the substrate around the assembly and glue the reinforcing and sealing tape into it.

7. On the bound waterproofing layer, place the tiles on a suitable adhesive mortar, setting a 5 mm gap between the upper trailing plane of the profiles and the tiles and fill it with an elastic sealing compound
8. In order to protect the runoff surface from contamination with the sealing compound, it is recommended to use an expansion cord between the tiles and the profile.

The manufacturer is not liable for damages resulting from the use of inappropriate accompanying materials and the use of wrong tools as well as the use of the product contrary to the intended use.

W czasie eksploatacji nie należy do czyszczenia używać środków o mocnym oddziałowaniu chemicznym kwaśnym i alkalicznym, oraz nie stosować rozpuszczalników organicznych.

W60 Profile

1. Start the assembly with adjusting the corners and cutting the profiles, taking into account the approx. 3 mm spacing between the elements in order to compensate for the stress.
2. Cover the previously prepared fault on the concrete slab in a zig-zag pattern with a mass stabilizing the profile.
3. Next, fix the angles and profiles to the base with construction dowels, taking care of the linearity of connections and facing with the concrete slab. For the mounted profiles, after setting the stabilizing compound, you can start laying the PVC membrane with built-in wicker on a concrete slab with a 5 cm overlap in order to weld it.
4. The welded membrane is cut along the profiles depending on the method of fixing.

The W60 profile enables the membrane to be fixed:

a) with PVC clips - placed on the underside of the profile and welded with hot air to the membrane (cutting line approx. 20 mm from the intersection into the drop zone of the profile.

b) with aluminum rivets - rivet with a diameter of 3 mm (membrane cutting line approx. 29 mm from the intersection into the fall zone of the profile, with notches for water drain taps in this zone)

On the board prepared in this way, place the tiles on P-7 plastic spacers. The resulting gaps between the tiles and the profile are grouted with polyurethane mass resistant to negative temperatures.

During operation, do not use agents with strong chemical acid and alkaline effect, and do not use organic solvents.

Our profiles are made of EN AW-6060 and EN AW-6063 aluminum covered with a layer of galvanic anticorrosive chromate coating and a polyester coating with a thickness of about 70um, powder applied, thanks to which they are resistant to weather conditions and UV influence.
